We would like to inform you that the SWZ Hockey Association Annual General Meeting (AGM) will take place as follows:
 
When: Thursday, May 21, 2026
Time: 7:00 p.m.
Where: Virtual meeting – online preregistration is required to attend.  Register here 
Who Can Attend:
Registered hockey players in good standing for the current program year, or their appointed representatives, are eligible to attend as voting delegates. 
 
Meeting Agenda Includes:

  • Approval of the April 30, 2025 audited financial statements
  • Selection of auditors for the fiscal year ending April 30, 2026
  • Election of Directors for the 2026–2027 season

Call for Nominations – Board Positions
The SWZ Board has established a Nominating Committee in accordance with Article 9.5.1 of the bylaws. The Committee is continuing to seek nominations for several key Board positions.  If you are interested please contact the nominating committee at nc@swzhockey.ca.


Important Notes:

  • No nominations will be accepted from the floor during the AGM.
  • No nominations will be accepted within the seven days prior to the meeting.
  • Interested individuals may also express interest in vacant positions at any time by contacting the Association President. These applications will be reviewed by the Board at a future meeting in accordance with our bylaws.

We encourage all eligible members to participate in the AGM and consider contributing to the future of our association through Board service.
