About the Coach

Jason Wiwad comes from an active hockey family, started coaching in 2004 and now has over 20 years under his belt.  Jason has coached all levels of hockey from community to the AJHL.  His personal philosophy as a Person, Hockey Coach and High Performance Mental Skills Coach is to “Love-Serve-Inspire” I believe that nobody cares what you know till they know that you truly care about them. I believe that you show that you care and love for players and coaches by serving  them, making time for them and helping them to discovery why they play and coach. To truly make change within the organization and the lives of players and coaches relationships need to be your number one focus. When an organization has a culture or “Way they do things” that gives us as coaches a roadmap to follow as we develop our personal coaching philosophy.

Development is wholistic and involves more than success in the standings or on the ice but it is about the complete growth and development for the coach and player both Mentally, Physically(On Ice) Socially and Emotionally. My goal as a coach mentor and life skills coach is to help players and coaches have clarity and perform at their best in rugged and stressful environment by building a foundation and framework that starts with being clear on your Personal Philosophy, Vision, High Performance and Character Strengths. I have been blessed to have been involved in the game for the past 22 years and I work every single day to see that both players and coaches see the Big Picture when it comes to the life changing impact this game can have on all of you.
